If someone who is receiving a LGPS pension dies, it is important for the next of kin or the person handling the estate to contact Bedfordshire Pension Fund as soon as possible.  This is so we can find out if there are dependants' benefits due and also so we can prevent overpayments or keep them to a minimum.

 

Please call Bedfordshire Pension Fund on 01234 276912 (option 1) to report a death.  We will let you know all the details we need and what paperwork you will need to send us.
