Pension Board
Each Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) fund has a Local Pension Board. The Pension Board plays an important role in making sure that the pension fund is well-managed and is keeping scheme members’ records and pensions safe.
Bedfordshire Pension Fund's Board was established by Bedford Borough Council on 26 March 2015. The Pension Board is made up of people who represent LGPS members and LGPS employers. It supports the pension fund and the Pension Fund Committee by checking that LGPS rules are being followed and that the fund is acting in line with guidance from the Pensions Regulator and other pensions legislation.
