Welcome to the Bedfordshire Pension Fund website
The Local Government Pension Scheme is one of the largest public
sector pension schemes in the UK. It is a nationwide pension
scheme for people working in Local Government or working for other
types of employer participating in the scheme.
The LGPS is administered locally through regional pension
funds. Bedfordshire Pension Fund, administered by Bedford
Borough Council, is responsible for the pensions of Local
Government employees across Bedfordshire, including Luton Borough
Council and Central Bedfordshire Council.
