Automatic Enrolment

Under new legislation introduced by the Government, every employer in the UK is required to automatically enrol most of their workers into a pension scheme.  This has been introduced to encourage more workers to save for their retirement.

Employers will need to ensure that they place everybody in the correct qualifying scheme at the correct time and will need to keep accurate records of everyone who opts out of their qualifying scheme.

It is the responsibility of employers to manage auto enrolment and to make sure they are following the regulations correctly.  Further information is available from the following websites:
